Not only will this online eyetest determine whether you are short or long sighted it will also identify many other eye health issues or anomalies you may be suffering from.
This revolution in eye testing allows you to have your eyes tested in your own time at your own home or place of work.

How does the Bells Optimaxer™ work?
The Bells Optimaxer™ will display letters of different sizes in a sequence on your computer screen. The letters will become increasingly smaller. As you see each letter you will be asked to type that letter into your computer keyboard. It is critical that you type the right letter into your keyboard as quickly as possible as response times are also factored in to our calculations.
Your eye distance from the computer screen is also another important factor. As the characters on the screen become smaller you will also be asked to view the screen from certain distances. (eg 2 feet, 18 inches, 1 foot, 1 hand span)
People already wearing corrective lenses will be asked to conduct the test twice. Firstly while wearing their existing corrective lenses. Secondly without their corrective lenses. The Bells Optimaxer™ will calculate the variations between the two tests to determine any further discrepancies and therefore a possible need to change perscription. |
